9to5Mac: iPhone 15 Pro Max will be more expensive than iPhone 14 Pro Max

Apple will raise prices for new flagship smartphones. This is reported by the publication 9to5Mac.

Media journalists referred to a report by Haitong Intl Tech Research analyst Jeff Pu, who stated that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro Max released in the fall of 2022. Pu said that the top device will receive unique features that the iPhone 15 Pro will not have.

So, the specialist noted that a distinctive feature of the 15 Pro Max will be a new zoom lens, as well as a more advanced camera system. The author emphasized that the iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro released in 2022 had almost identical characteristics and differed only in display size and battery capacity.

In addition, Jeff Pu gave a forecast regarding the iPhone 16 series devices planned for 2024. According to the analyst, the flagship devices of the line will receive a “metalens”, which will significantly improve the capabilities of smartphone cameras.

The well-known analyst also revealed that Apple will put the iPhone 15 devices into production in August. The company expects to release 84 million smartphones by the end of the year, which is 12 percent more than the iPhone 14 series devices were shipped in the same period last year.

Earlier, The Elec sources said that Apple will delay the release of the iPhone SE 4 until 2025. The reason is the large number of defective OLED panels intended for devices.
