ITHome: iPhone 15 smartphones will receive an increased battery compared to the iPhone 14

Apple has planned to significantly increase the battery life of its smartphones. This is reported by the Chinese edition of ITHome.

Media journalists referred to an insider report allegedly associated with Foxconn, the main manufacturer of Apple smartphones in China. According to the author, all devices in the iPhone 15 series will receive larger batteries – batteries will increase by about 350-600 milliamp-hours compared to devices in 2022.

So, the battery of the most affordable device of the new series – iPhone 15 – will increase from 3279 to 3877 milliamp-hours, iPhone 15 Plus – from 4325 to 4912 milliamp-hours. Premium models will also receive increased capacity batteries. An insider said that the battery of the iPhone 15 Pro will increase from 3200 to 3650 milliamp hours, iPhone 15 Pro Max – from 4323 to 4852 milliamp hours.

Journalists of the publication noticed that Apple almost every year focuses on the fact that their new smartphones get improved batteries. However, the authors emphasized that the difference between the batteries of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 series was not very big.

Earlier, insiders said that Apple decided not to limit the speed of wireless charging of its new smartphones. So, the authors found out that the iPhone 15 devices will charge at the same speed – both when using the original and third-party charging.
