Modern routers do not have very high levels of radiation, but constant exposure from a fairly close distance can have adverse effects on human health, the scientist warned. “Proximity refers to the placement of the device in a room, as well as where you often spend time sleeping and relaxing,” he clarified.
Basic security rule: if the device can be connected to the Internet via a cable, it must be connected via a cable. It is not harmful to health, besides, it provides better Internet speed.
“If you cannot completely refuse to install a router in an apartment, you must follow basic safety rules. For example, you do not need Wi-Fi – you do not need to expose yourself to radiation. Turn off the router at night or for a time when you are not using gadgets, ”advised Kostin.
