A mother preferred to betray her own daughter rather than be an accomplice to a crime; a bank robbery. The incident took place in Michigan, United States.

American and European media covered the story of the robbery that foiled the mother.

The 35-year-old’s intention was to attack him, but that did not work. Because of what was reported, he left his mother’s home in Hamburg with that idea in mind.

Upon arrival at the agency, due to an oversight on the part of the daughter, her mother decided to notify a bank employee of her intentions. The woman did not speak, but passed on a powerful message: “Help me call 911.”

The alert was received and they immediately activated the protocols and called the police.

The officers arrived at the bank and arrested the person charged by her mother. The charges were attempted armed robbery and other crimes, which were not specified. She was held on $250,000 bail.

Pinckney police stressed the speed with which employees of employment agencies acted. “Without the help of astute bank staff, this incident could have turned out much worse,” the institution said.
