A man, who describes being emotionally touched when he saw how his family had distanced himself, decided to carry out a plan that involved the complicity of his partner and daughters.

This subject, a tiktoker known as “Ragnar the Mad”, planned how to collect his relatives in an act. After considering scenarios, he chose to act on an idea. A little macabre. He didn’t care, he just wanted to know what kind of reaction he would get.

The plan was to fake her death and the painful news was broken to the family by her daughter.

David Baerten, 45, is the name of this tiktoker who became the talk of the social networks. One of Baerten’s daughters informed relatives of her father’s death. He did it with such regret that no one doubted it.

The girl shared an emotional farewell to her father with her followers, according to La Vanguardia. The vigil was held in Liege, Belgium, as planned, and the family members arrived; the ones Baerten hadn’t seen for so long.

According to La Vanguardia, Baerten responded to the criticism: “What I see in my family often hurts me. They never invite me to anything. No one sees me, we all distance ourselves. I felt despised. That’s why I wanted to give them a life lesson and show them that they shouldn’t wait for someone to die to join them.”

It is not easy to implement such a plan. Just as certain as how macabre this idea turned out to be is the impact caused in some people by distancing themselves from those they grew up with, lived with, or were born with for various reasons. Embracing yourself and telling the other person that they are important and that you want them in your life is a healthy mental health exercise.
