Despite rampant inflation and rising component costs, Apple did not decide to raise the prices of new iPhones last year. Of course, we are talking about the US market, mainly due to the significant weakening of the Polish currency against the US dollar.
If we believe the forecasts of experts, we will not be able to avoid global price increases this year. , and one of the best-informed sources on the subject of Apple, estimates that the Cupertino-based company may increase the price of the iPhone 15 by as much as $100-200.
Over PLN 7,000 for the “cheapest” iPhone 15 Pro? It’s a real scenario
This information is also confirmed by “Forbes” sources, according to which the prices of individual iPhone models will go up by $ 100 and will be at the following level:
- iPhone 15 – $799
- iPhone 15 Plus – $899
- iPhone 15 Pro – $1099
- iPhone 15 Pro Max – $1199
Assuming this more “optimistic” scenario in Poland, we will pay for the basic iPhone 15 Pro model PLN 7,199, while the basic 14 Pro model on the Vistula costs money PLN 6,499. So we’re talking about a significant increase here. And this is assuming that Apple will not additionally decide to index prices in zlotys this year.
Interestingly, Dan Ives also suggests that despite the projected price increases of the latest iPhone models, Apple can still “break the bank” and record record sales of devices. The expert refers to the report, which shows that there is currently even one on the market 250 million iPhones, which have not been replaced for four years – and it is after such a period that users most often decide to replace the old model with a new one.
Since the beginning of this year, Apple shares on the New York Stock Exchange have gained 41 percent. On Monday, after the close of trading, they were valued at almost $ 184, and the last increase in the price was related to the premiere of the Apple Vision Pro augmented reality goggles.
