“You are a son and a father you will be.” This saying was never heard by a man who sees his neighbors with very bad eyes since he left his parents on the street.

The community is hurt and outraged. No one can explain why the son of a retired couple made that cruel decision.

The events took place in the province of Misiones, Argentina, where the families were in charge of embracing these parents as well as exposing the matter to the media.

The adults are pensioners and are entitled to the house they were evicted from.

What happened to these parents?

Paulina Piriz is one of the most surprised by what happened. “The gentlemen went shopping in a supermarket and when they came back they said ‘they won’t come in here anymore’ and closed everything,” he told Misiones Cuatro on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

It was no joke for the couple. They soon realized that the son and his wife were taking advantage of their absence to change the locks on the doors.

According to Piriz, “Adults are retirees and have a right to the house they were thrown out of.”

Unfortunately, this fact would not be the only thing affecting the spouses. Neighbors accuse that “the daughter-in-law collects the pension corresponding to the woman.”

In the midst of this situation, they search for answers as to why they were kicked out of the house, repeating that “the daughter-in-law has seized the lady’s salary, so it’s from the side of ambition.”

They were left with nothing, they sleep in a car

“They practically left them on the street,” Fabián Ramírez complained to southern media. This shocking action happened about two weeks ago.

They locked the doors, they put a padlock on the gate. This is delicate.

The spouses are in their 60s and are seeking shelter, neighbors say on El Trece TV, in a car parked at Calle 103 and Luchessi, in Chacra 102.

All their belongings, such as clothing, remained in the premises, as well as the tools they use to make handicrafts.

As they wait for justice to rule on this case in Misiones, solidarity grows in the hands and hearts of the neighbourhood.

They live in the car and I feed them a plate every day

“We try to help them with coats, food,” Ramírez told the press, “we also help with their needs, some force them to go to the bathroom.”
