A 14-year-old girl was shot in the head while playing hide and seek with a group of friends in Louisiana.

The event took place on Sunday and adds to the other gun-related events that have hit the North American country. One of the events that caused the most uproar was that of a young man who went to the wrong house and was shot.

According to authorities, the minor and her friends were playing in parts of the neighbour’s property, who, seeing shadows outside his home, picked up a gun and, seeing several people running, shot them.

He remained in custody on Tuesday and was held on $300,000 bail.
