Longevity has a worthy representative in Antoinette Inserra. This adorable grandma doesn’t hesitate to share how she’s getting past 100 years old.

Antoinette is from Staten Island, New York and says she enjoys walking and a good glass of beer.

At 104 years old, he is the oak of his family. He survived covid-19, a disease he contracted twice.

Four children grew up with her and her husband (now deceased) as foundations. Antoinette gave birth to eight grandchildren and now has nine great-grandchildren.

This woman attributes her long years to seeing things with a “positive perspective.” But there’s more, much more, among her secrets to staying active, the Daily Mail reports.

The 100-year-old grandmother says she eats well and eats a balanced diet, which includes soft shell crab, pepperoni and lots of spinach.

Other secrets include wearing makeup all the time, trying to leave the house once a day, and having friends.

But it’s in the drink that he believes the key to embracing for so many years lies: he loves beer. That drink, or a vermouth, accompanies her in the evening.

To keep his mind sharp, he confesses that he spends time doing crosswords and word searches.

“I take care of myself. I do what I have to do,” he says. “Once you take care of yourself, everything is done,” he says.

Born to Italian parents in the Little Italy neighborhood of Lower Manhattan on April 21, 1919, Antoinette was one of four sisters and five brothers, SIAdvance reports, Daily Mail reports.

At the age of 18, she met her husband, Vincent Inserra. They married in early 1944. Vincent passed away at the age of 68.

His reasoning is simple and wise. Antoinette Inserra says that “she has taken life one day at a time and has always had a positive outlook.”

Phyllis Scotto, the daughter, jokingly believes that the indispensable fact in such a long life is good beer. “That could be his secret!” Who knows?” he jokes.

“She wakes up every day ready to go out with her makeup and shoes on,” Scotto describes.

When asked about life’s challenges, the adorable Antoinette replies, “What can you do if something happens? You just let it go, do what you can, and that’s it.”

Adult advice is appreciated and in this particular case it is to frame: “I’m just saying you look good and make good friends. Be nice to them and you will have good friends.”
