According to the author, the first alternative reality helmet from the American brand will be the “star of the show” and, accordingly, the main product of the summer presentation. WWDC 2023 will take place June 5-9.

According to the disclosed data, in addition to the device, Tim Cook’s company will present the xrOS operating system and a software development kit. Apple will also show developers documentation for writing applications and services for the VR / AR helmet. “I was told that the device would have a clear story for developers in terms of how they want to use it,” the journalist emphasized.

The insider suggested that an early announcement of the gadget is necessary so that the first applications are created for its release. The new Apple product is expected to go on sale towards the end of 2023. Mark Gurman’s report contradicts information from authoritative insider Ming-Chi Ko, according to which Apple may delay the announcement of the device.
