Grateful for the time and the quality of the conversations she’s had, a young adventurer who’s had 35 dates with men from 20 countries in the past year.

How did you do? James, an American, decided to travel, but the interest was – and still is – to talk. Know stories that help her grow. I would not fall in love, do nothing, as the saying goes, leave a love in “any port”.

Loli James bought tickets and flew from Washington state to London last year.

The goal was clear to him: he wanted to travel the world and have an appointment with a local, indigenous man, from every country he visited, El Tiempo publishes.

The dating strategy had been found on apps like Tinder, and since the app paired her with a first man, the next step was to go out to dinner with him.

“Within minutes of arriving in London, he used this famous dating app and met an English national of both French and British nationality whom he really enjoyed traveling and meeting.”

Dinner arrived and between courses and toast they talked for over five hours. Nothing else happened. They wouldn’t see each other again.

Since the beginning of his journey, the aforementioned medium says, James has used other dating applications such as Hinge and Bumble to continue his plan.

Dating leaves great conversations

A year after that decision to travel, Loni James confirms that she had completed and performed 35 appointments in 20 countries by last February. The mix of cultures caught his attention.

“I’ve had incredibly intimate and vulnerable conversations with those people. Something special happens when people know they will never see you again,” he said in an interview with CNN, reports El Tiempo.

What he experienced, he describes, “is memorable.” He emphasizes that “each of the appointments taught him and contributed something to his life.”

In the past, I viewed dating as make or break. If I went out on a date with someone and it didn’t end with a goodnight kiss, I considered that a failure, James said.

anecdotal moments

This free-spirited woman experienced dates with peaks of tension and even humor.

She has felt safe all along. “Men have planted it twice: in Paphos, Cyprus, and in Cape Town, South Africa.”

In Türkiye, the meeting with a Muslim did not end well. It can be said that it left her exhausted.

This man wanted someone to listen to him and saw Loni as a good conversation partner: the appointment lasted 13 hours!

Instead, there was fun in Italy. The meeting was in Verona “with a charming musician who gave him a scooter ride and a night tour of many historical sites in that beautiful city”.

While in Cape Town, the man took out decks (cards) during dinner and started doing card tricks to surprise her.

I now realize the value of dating and being so grateful that someone opened up and gave you their time… shared their story with you.

He plans to publish a book telling these stories and his experiences. For now, he will continue to travel. At the beginning of April he was still in Africa. In a few months it will go to Asia, Australia and South America will not be missing.

Loni travels the world and wants other women like her to be encouraged to live, dare and be surprised.
