The Colombian Navy, through its coastguard units, has announced the rescue of 26 migrants found illegally on the coast of that country.
The actions took place during a maritime control operation when it was possible to identify the ship that had left San Andrés and was destined for Central America. A rapid response unit was immediately notified with coordinates to verify the situation.

Within the group were nine minors who were transported without the minimum security conditions. The migrants had Venezuelan, Ecuadorian and Chinese nationalities.

Two crew members of the boat were made available to the Attorney General’s Office.
The ship was taken to the Coast Guard’s main dock in San Andrés.
