Here are some of the most important things you should know about model number 11.
DESIGN
I must admit that the first contact with the smartphone makes a very positive impression. The eyes are particularly attracted by the elegant, matte backs of the black color version, which have been additionally embellished with a shiny OnePlus logo.
The whole is complemented by an overgrown, but interesting-looking island with cameras. OnePlus 11 is also perfectly made and fits perfectly in the hand, and the screen slightly bent on the sides is an element that I definitely liked. EFFICIENCY
But let’s move on to what is most interesting, i.e. performance. Inside the OnePlus 11 housing there is the most powerful Qualcomm processor – Snapdragon 8 2nd generation and from 8 to as much as 16 GB of RAM. This makes the OnePlus 11 a performance monster and it is clearly visible in everyday use.
There is no application that would be a challenge for the tested smartphone, which makes the OnePlus 11 also a great gaming equipment. I must point out that the phone casing noticeably heats up during intensive work, but it does not negatively affect the experience when using the “Eleven”.
SCREEN
Equally important in the case of a smartphone is the screen, and in this aspect the OnePlus 11 definitely has something to boast about. We find here the top AMOLED with a diagonal of 6.7 inches and a very high resolution, resulting in excellent sharpness of over 520 pixels per inch.
OnePlus 11 provides infinite contrast, deep blacks, well-rendered colors and in this field can easily compete with flagships from Samsung and Apple. From the journalistic duty, I will add that the matrix provides a refresh rate of 120 Hz, but this is also becoming a standard in much cheaper smartphones.
APPARATUS
OnePlus decided to use a set of three cameras here. The main one is equipped with optical image stabilization and has a 50 Mpix sensor. The manufacturer also adds a wide-angle camera with a resolution of 48 Mpix and a 32-megapixel camera with a telephoto lens to the set.
Daytime photos look great. The frames are bright, the colors are natural, and the focus and white balance are set correctly. In difficult lighting conditions, the cameras are doing slightly worse, but still very well. In one sentence: it’s great, but not sensational. However, I can’t get over the fact that the telephoto lens only zooms in twice.
BATTERY
The whole thing is powered by a battery with a currently standard capacity of 5000 mAh, which allowed me to move away from the socket for about 1.5 days during intensive work. This is the standard result. However, the charging process is extremely fast. The 100 W charger included in the set means that you only have to wait 25 minutes to replenish the energy from zero to one hundred percent.
However, if you are used to wireless charging, when you buy OnePlus 11, you can hide the inductive charger in a drawer. For some reason, the phone can only be charged by wire, which in this price range is, in my opinion, a shot in the knee. The more so that most of the previous OnePlus models supported inductive charging.
The cheapest variant of OnePlus 11 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory can be found in stores for PLN 3,800-4,000, which – considering the phone’s capabilities – is an attractive price. After all, the cheapest version of the Samsung Galaxy S23 + is already an expense of about a thousand zlotys. Not to mention the ultra-expensive iPhone 14 Plus, whose price is almost PLN 6,000.
