A chilling 911 call has been made public by a friend of the Nashville gunman, all minutes after the murderous rampage began.

Averianna Patton received several disturbing messages from Audrey Hale, 28, on Instagram shortly before he started shooting in the Covenant School. She shot and killed three 9-year-old students and three staff members at 10:10 am. The messages to her boyfriend were sent at 9:57 PM.

After receiving a certain message from Hale that said: “I plan to die today, you will probably hear about me on the news”Patton called a suicide hotline, who then encouraged her to contact authorities to let them know of the situation.

In her 911 call at around 10:12 a.m., when armed officers were already on the scene, she said: “I’m just trying to see if anyone can help. I just don’t want it on my conscience. If anyone can visit her, all I have is her Instagram. Can I give you her Instagram so they can find or follow her that way?

Hale’s former basketball teammate was told there was nothing officers could do to help without directions from the shooter. But the Nashville Metropolitan Police confirmed to Fox17 that at the time of the call, the police he already arrived at the private Christian school to deal with the shooter.

Hale had already shot and killed six people when the police arrived.. At 9:57 a.m., 16 minutes before police were first notified of the shooting, Audrey texted, “Basically, that entry I posted here about you was actually a suicide note. I intend to die today. THIS IS NOT A JOKE!!! You’ll probably hear about me on the news after I die. This is my last goodbye. I love you. I’ll see you in another life.”

Authorities said Hale planned to attack more than one location, including a mall and another school.
