So you can make your WhatsApp messages sound like MSN Messenger

The sound of the 2000s can now be on your phone.

MSN Messenger’s classic “Tukutin” sound will bring memories to everyone who grew up with the technology of the 2000s. Today’s messaging apps don’t include it in the notification sounds list, but there is a simple method by which you can configure it in your phone, whether it is Android or iOS system.

To do so, you will have to download the sound found in this link, and save it in a folder you can identify.

For android

Open the WhatsApp application and go to Settings. Within this window, select Notifications, where you will find the list of tones that exist on your device. Select “Tukutin”, which you previously downloaded, and from now on, your notifications will sound like the messages that arrived on your computer in the past decade.

For ios

Users with an Apple device will have to open the Settings application on the cell phone, press the Notifications section. There the same process will be repeated as with Android, selecting the “Tukutin” tone that is already downloaded to the device.. (I)
