Huawei launches first wireless earbuds with thermometer and heart rate monitor

The Chinese company Huawei introduced the first wireless headphones on the market with the ability to measure temperature and heart rate. This is reported by Huawei Central.

The FreeBuds Pro 2+ headset has been released for the Chinese market. The device is equipped with a dual-mode heart rate sensor for measuring heart rate. According to the company’s engineers, the headphones can also measure the user’s body temperature – a special algorithm is responsible for the function.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ transmit data to an application in which the information is analyzed and stored. In the event of an abnormally high heart rate, the program will send a notification to the user’s smartphone.

The headset also has 11mm dynamic drivers, supports L2HC and LDACTM codecs, allows you to play high-definition spatial sound, has an active noise cancellation function that can block background noise up to 47 decibels. Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2+ was priced at 1499 yuan (about 17 thousand rubles), the headphones will go on sale in China on April 7th.

In mid-March, Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman said that Apple would add hearing aid features to AirPods. According to the specialist, the company will add new features to its headset within the next year or two years.
