Apple plans to launch HomePod smart speaker with a screen in 2024
Apple is planning to launch a new smart home device. The authoritative insider Ming-Chi Ko announced this in his blog on Medium.
According to the analyst, the American IT giant intends to create a new generation of HomePod smart speaker. He said that Apple will prepare a smart device with an audio system and a 7-inch display. According to the specialist, the HomePod column will be even more deeply integrated into the Apple ecosystem and support new smart home devices. The announcement of the gadget should take place in the second half of 2024.
Ming-Chi Ko also found out that Tianma would be the only manufacturer of smart speakers for Apple. The specialist noted that if things go well, the company will produce other branded smart home devices, such as smart screens.
There are currently two products in Apple’s smart speaker line – the HomePod smart speaker and the HomePod Mini. The first generation of HomePod was announced in June 2017.
