The giant manzana announced this Thursday the launch of an application specifically dedicated to classical music at the end of March, with five million titles.

It is the “largest catalog of classical music in the world,” says the multinational, whose current application, Apple Music, is one of the most widely used in the digital world.

The application will receive exclusive releases, says Apple, which with this release directly competes with IDAGIO, an application for classical music and concerts with a library of two million titles.

Apple Music Classical gives fans a search engine “by composer, work, conductor, or even catalog number.” explains the statement.

Subscribers also get access to biographies and “comprehensive guides to numerous key works”.

Apple Music subscribers can access this new application for free.
