Godoi remarked that he had once found a law book among the rubbish. It was then that a conversation came to my mind about the idea of resuming his studies and “he decided to take a high school exam and continue his studies at a university in southern Brazil,” Univision reported.
“A friend who was graduating suggested I take the Enem (National High School Exam). I thought it was late, I was 32 years old. I found a Vademecum (law code) in the trash, so I had the answer,” he recalls.
He said that he graduated from high school in March 2016 and then started studying at the University of Caxias do Sul.
Story with a happy ending and next to the garbage truck
“We love stories with a happy ending here. And when it comes to our employees, we love it even more, so we’re sharing it for the whole world to know,” Codeca revealed.
They reported that on Tuesday, Jan. 24, the company “served as the backdrop for Lindiane Godoi’s graduation photos.”
In the photos, the woman happily posed in her cap and dress next to a garbage truck.
In the midst of her work as a collector, for 12 years, she “managed to organize time with shift work, homework and mother and of course financially” to complete her studies.
The company says it is proud of Godoi’s example, who “wanted to immortalize it in photos in the truck and with his colleagues from the city cleaning department.”
Congratulations on networking
The woman studied law at the University of Caxias do Sul (UCS) and is now an employee of the Ministry of Health.
The news was very well received on social media. They recognize your efforts and celebrate your achievement.
She is a woman worth admiring, moving forward, says Hazal Faraj.
“This is to applaud so many people who have everything and don’t study,” says Celia Érica Alcaide.
Isabel Sáenz recalls: “Congratulations. No honest work is humiliating, on the contrary, it is a source of pride”.
