GizChina: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra scores highest in Geekbench 5

The new flagship Samsung has set a performance record in synthetic tests. This is reported by the publication GizChina.

Media journalists drew attention to the test results of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone in the Geekbench 5 benchmark. According to the disclosed data, the device scored 1600 points in a single-core test and 5311 points in a multi-core test. Based on this, the authors called the new Samsung flagship the most powerful Android smartphone in history.

Experts noted that the closest pursuer of the Korean flagship is Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro, which received 1486 and 5211 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The material says that the highest result of the Galaxy S23 Ultra in the tests is associated with the use of the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

According to journalists, all devices of the Galaxy S23 series also received an advanced cooling system, which has a positive effect on the power of devices. “However, only personal testing of the smartphone will show whether it really has such a great performance potential,” the authors summed up.

Previously, enthusiasts found out that Samsung’s top-end smartphone turned out to be less productive than Apple’s flagship. According to synthetic benchmarks, the Galaxy S23 Ultra outperformed the iPhone 14 Pro.
