CNMO: Nokia will release a new version of the popular N73 phone in 2006
Nokia may release a new version of the legendary N73 phone. This is reported by the Chinese edition of CNMO.
As it became known to company insiders, HMD Global, which has a license to produce smartphones under the Nokia brand, was going to resurrect another popular phone in the zero. The network has information about the device Nokia N73, which is an updated version of the device of the same name, released in 2006.
The exact characteristics of the gadget were not disclosed, but sources said that the device will have a record camera with five lenses. The main sensor of the smartphone will receive a resolution of 200 megapixels. Release dates and estimated cost of the device are unknown.
Nokia’s latest device with five cameras was the 9 PureView smartphone, which appeared in March 2019. The original Nokia N73 was released in August 2006. The phone received a physical keyboard, a 2.4-inch TFT color screen, 42 megabytes of operational and 64 megabytes of internal memory, a single camera with a resolution of 3 megapixels, Bluetooth 2.0 and an infrared port. The cult device in certain circles was running the Symbian 9.1 operating system.
At the end of July 2021, HMD Global re-released another rare phone under the Nokia brand. It turned out to be the Nokia 6310, the original version of which was released in 2001.
