Samsung Galaxy S23 flagships will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor

The well-known South Korean insider Dohyun Kim revealed all the characteristics of the new flagship Samsung smartphones. The specialist published information about the devices in his Twitter.

According to Kim’s report, Samsung’s phone lineup will include three devices – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The launch device will receive a 6.11-inch Infinity-O AMOLED screen with support for a frequency of 120 hertz. The model will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and have from 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal memory. The phone will be released with a triple camera with lenses with a resolution of 50, 12 and 10 megapixels, will receive a battery with a capacity of 3900 milliamp-hours.

Galaxy S23 + will differ from the base gadget by the presence of a 6.6-inch display and will receive an extended battery up to 4700 milliamp-hours. The premium Galaxy S23 Ultra will come with a 6.8-inch curved display and a quad-sensor camera with a resolution of 200, 12, 10 and 10 megapixels. The smartphone will be equipped with a 5000 milliamp-hour battery.

It is known that the phones will come out with Android 13 with a proprietary One UI 5.1 shell. Also, the devices will receive stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, moisture protection according to the IP68 standard, 5G support, and a USB Type-C port.

At the end of December, a well-known insider under the nickname Ice Universe spoke about the future presentation of Samsung. According to the specialist, the flagships of the Galaxy S23 series will be presented on February 1.
