Both the driver of the vehicle and three passengers survived the accident. The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office initially said the two children were “unharmed.” In turn, the Highway Patrol reported that the passengers of the vehicle were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The Tesla driver, the husband of an adult passenger and the father of two children with whom he was traveling, was arrested on charges of attempted murder and endangering children.

As we read, the man is currently in the hospital, and after leaving the facility, he will be placed in the San Mateo County Jail.
