According to the local police, a man recently came to the Ostrołęka police station. “Wronged […] stated that he met an attractive woman on a social networking site who offered him a video chat, during which she presented herself naked. She then asked the man to do the same, to which he agreed.
However, the video chat ended not well for the man. Shortly after the conversation, the partner demanded PLN 15,000 from him. An accidental partner threatened that if she refused to donate money, the compromising video would be placed on the Internet, in the press. The woman also announced that she would send it to his friends on a social networking site. “She also added that she would ‘make his life hell’,” police said.
According to uniformed accounts, a resident of the Ostrołęka district succumbed to blackmail and transferred some of the money to the woman from the amount she demanded. PLN 3.5 thousand went to the account in Ivory Coast. However, the blackmailer demanded the rest of the amount. At this point, the man decided to alert law enforcement.
