The pornography website pornhub has been banned from youtubethree days after TikTok oust the company over allegations of child pornography.
The company owned by Google said he canceled the channel of that porn site, which was using it as a marketing tool, for “multiple violations” by linking to sites that host content not permitted by the community guidelines.
Pornhub’s parent company, MindGeek, is not taking the removal lightly and’vehemently denied’ YouTube’s claims that he was linked to pornographic sites, details Daily Mail.
This censorship by YouTube is just one more than Pornhub, which had almost 900,000 subscribers before it was removed from YouTube last Friday, has experienced in recent years. For example, in 2020, Mastercard and Visa cut payments from the adult content companyand Instagram recently banned it permanently.
“Upon review, we have terminated the PornhubOfficial channel following multiple violations of our Community Guidelines,” Jack Malon, a YouTube spokesperson, told Daily Mail. “We enforce our policies equally for everyoneand channels that repeatedly violate or are dedicated to violative content are terminated,” he added.
The US National Center on Sexual Exploitation issued a statement following news that the adult content company had been removed from YouTube.
“Pornhub has lost another outlet to market and profit from exploitation, and we are grateful to YouTube for removing this predatory company’s account,” said Lina Nealon, director of corporate and strategic initiatives for the National Center on Sexual Exploitation.
The director considered that the pornographic portal “was driving people directly to his porn site, a violation of YouTube’s policieswhich mounting evidence shows is riddled with child sexual abuse, sex trafficking, rape and image-based sexual abuse material.”
Nealon claimed that the Pornhub channel allowed children to view videos of women being raped, abused children, extreme acts of violence and racism that are so pervasive on Pornhub.
Still, a MindGeek spokesperson told Variety that “Pornhub maintains the best measures of trust and security on the Internet and takes special care to ensure that it does not violate any of the YouTube Community Guidelines,” a spokesperson said in a statement.

Months ago, Meta permanently banned Pornhub from Instagram for “repeatedly violating” its policies on nudity, adult content and sexual solicitation.
However, Pornhub responded to Meta by posting an open letter on Twitter, arguing that the platform’s policies have been “opaque, discriminatory and hypocritical”. (YO)
