For several days, SMS fraud attacks have been observed, the purpose of which is to steal money from Polish users of the American VOD platform. As he points out, attempts to impersonate Netflix are made regularly, but in recent days they have definitely gained strength.

The telephones of Poles most often receive messages about a problem with the payment or blocking of the Netflix account. The goal of the scammers is of course to trick you into entering a specially crafted website that pretends to be a popular VOD platform. First, the scammers ask for your Netflix account login and password. In the next step, the victim is asked to confirm his personal data “for the invoice”, and at the end he is to enter the payment card details.

With such information, fraudsters can not only take over the account on the platform, but also clean the funds from the payment card. After receiving a similar SMS, it is best not to react to it, and above all, you cannot click on the link and provide any data.
