The small USB plug is a sales hit in Poland. He pretends to work remotely

The new sales hit of the Polish Amazon may seem surprising. The inconspicuous plugin is used … to cheat the employer.

The USB plug that simulates mouse movement is a sales hit

Just a few years ago, no one would have thought that such a device could gain popularity on auction portals. Everything changed, however, the pandemic that sent people to remote work. Some employers – wanting to have as much control over employees as possible – have taken certain measures.

Company computers in some companies monitor, for example, mouse movement and if it is not detected for a few or several minutes, they send an appropriate message to the employer or log the employee out of the system. It turns out, however, that a solution has long been invented for every problem, and in this case it is a tiny device.

The USB plug resembles a classic receiver for a wireless mouse and costs PLN 69.99. It is used to simulate mouse work by reproducing the appropriate sequence of cursor movements. On the Polish Amazon, the device is currently marked as the leader in the ranking of bestsellers in the “mice” category. However, it is also loud about it on portals to share opportunities.

The manufacturer ensures that the plug is detectable by the computer as an ordinary computer mouse and does not require installing any drivers. It is also supposed to be undetectable for the employer’s systems. What’s more, there was even a button to turn off the simulation in case the plug-in owner had to get to work during a break from rest.

If you are wondering what device is in second place on Amazon’s bestseller list, it is … another plugin for simulating mouse movement (this time a bit cheaper, for PLN 42.45). Only in third place is a normal mouse that is actually used to work on a computer.
