For more than a decade, the App Store editorial team has celebrated the best apps and games of the year, recognizing the work of self-taught developers as well as large international companies. With so many amazing apps in the world, selecting the winners was no easy task. “As always, we focus on technical innovation, user experience and design. Winning apps of the cultural impact award

- Inua: a tribute to the legacy of the Inuit people, whose tales and legends served as a guide to trace the plot of this beautiful story.
- Locket Widget: its mission is to make us feel closer to our loved ones, ensuring that we don’t miss a single moment of their day.
- Water Tracker: Through nice reminders and cute characters, this app found the perfect way to make people stay hydrated.
In this way, those from Cupertino announced the winners of the App Store Awards. Winning an App Store Awards means not only recognition of high-quality applications, but also a springboard for developers to reach a larger audience.
In total, 16 applications and games were awarded in the different categories in which Apple classifies, not only for being good applications, but for going beyond the norm to offer exceptional experiences and have a deep cultural impact.
