The Pole became the president of Toyota in Norway. The whole of Europe can envy such a view from the window

Toyota Norway announced the name of its new CEO in December. He is a Pole, Piotr Pawlak, who has so far served as president of the Polish branch of Ford, and previously worked, among others, in in Nissan. In his new position, he replaced Dimitris Tripospitis, who became the head of Lexus Europe.

On January 2, the Pole officially took up his new position in Norway and posted a photo from the new office on Twitter. The photo gained immense popularity (over 138,000 views on Twitter), but Internet users not only congratulated the new job, but also drew attention to the view from the window in the Norwegian office.

Piotr Pawlak himself admitted on Tuesday that this view was a hit on the web and uploaded a video showing the snow-covered area visible from the window. On the company we can see the Drammensfjord, which cuts very deeply into the Norwegian mainland. The Toyota office in this country is located on the very shores of the bay, on the outskirts of the city of Drammen.

As the new president of Toyota Norway said, “this is probably the best view from a Toyota office in all of Europe.”

Interestingly, Jacek Pawlak has been the president of Toyota Central Europe (a region including Poland) since 2016. The similarity of names is not accidental here. Jacek Pawlak is Piotr’s father. Both men, after years of working for competing manufacturers, will now head branches of one brand.
