Digital Trends: MacBook Pro on M2 is Apple’s most disappointing device

The journalists explained their choice by the fact that the MacBook Pro presented in 2022 received an old design that has been used in Apple computers for more than six years. Also, experts noted that the device does not have the right to be called Pro and refer to devices intended for a professional audience.
“This is a laptop that simply should not be,” the authors said. According to them, the model that disappointed them has the same M2 chip that received the MacBook Air ultrabook. However, both computers have about the same performance. At the same time, the MacBook Air is available for $1199, and the MacBook Pro is $1299, or about 88 thousand rubles.
Journalists noted that the laptop received a Touch Bar, which was previously strongly criticized by MacBook users. “In the context of other options that you have in the MacBook line, this device simply does not make sense to buy,” the authors of the media summed up.
