Apple has abandoned some of its revolutionary plans for this car. The company wanted to throw down Tesla’s gloves and produce a fully automatic car. Currently, vehicles produced by have an autopilot, but it must be controlled by the driver. Apple vehicles were supposed to take automation a few steps forward. The initial designs didn’t even include a steering wheel and pedals for the .
With these plans, however, Apple stopped halfway, as the Apple Car is supposed to be semi-automatic. The latest designs provide with a steering wheel and pedals, but also with an autopilot function that works on the . The vehicle is even supposed to allow the driver, for example, to watch movies or play games. It should warn in advance about the need to take over control, e.g. when exiting a motorway.

The Apple car will cost PLN 500,000
What this car will look like is still unknown. Mark Gurman reports that work on the design of the Apple Car is expected to be completed in 2023. In the coming years, we are to learn a detailed list of all the functions of the car, and in 2025 the final tests of the machine will begin. According to a Bloomberg journalist, the car will initially cost around $100,000, i.e. almost half a million.
