Spotify sums up the year. What did Poles listen to?

The Polish list is dominated by Poles. Only one song in the TOP10 was not Polish. The rest of the categories were dominated by our compatriots. The exception is the list of the most popular female artists in Poland, which includes several foreign singers. The popularity of Polish music is growing for another year in a row and compared to 2021, we listened to Poles by as much as 37 percent. often.

Unfortunately, there is no place for a Pole in the world’s TOP10 yet. The global charts and our national ones have only two points in common: the second most popular artist in Poland is Taylor Swift, who took the same place among all performers in the world, without division into genders, and the song “As it Was” by Harry Styles, which on the tape entered the TOP10 songs in the country, was the most popular song in the world in 2022. However, the list was dominated by Latin rapper Bad Bunny.
