The entry stated that “Ukrainian nationalists” are supported in these places. Roskomos also announced that the photos and coordinates were published “just in case”. Many people saw it as a provocation or even a threat to the side.

Roskomos attacked by hackers

On Wednesday, the spokesman for Roscosmos, Dmitry Strugovets, said on Telegram that after the publication of the photos, the space agency was attacked by the Russian news agency TASS. A DDoS attack was carried out, which consists in overloading the servers by artificially generating traffic to the site until it stops working.

The previous attacks in March and April came from outside. This time, however, the hackers were to attack from the country – specifically from Jaketynburg.
