Pocket-lint: Xiaomi Announces 12T and 12T Pro Flagship Smartphones

Xiaomi has introduced a new series of flagship smartphones 12T. It is reported by the publication Pocket-lint.

The line includes two devices. The base device Xiaomi 12T has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2712×1220 pixels and support for a frequency of 120 hertz. The device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra processor, has 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal memory. On the back of the gadget is a camera with lenses of 108, 8 and 2 megapixels. The device received a battery with a capacity of 5000 milliamp-hours, the smartphone runs on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 shell.

The top device of the series – Xiaomi 12T Pro – differs only in the presence of the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, a version with 12 gigabytes of RAM, a better screen with Dolby Vision support. On the back of the announced flagship is a triple camera with 200, 8 and 2 megapixel lenses.

According to company representatives, a distinctive feature of the older flagship is the Samsung HP1 “megasensor” with a resolution of 200 megapixels. It allows you to take better photos in low light conditions and record video in 8K resolution.

The cost of Xiaomi 12T is 599 euros, or about 35 thousand rubles; model 12T Pro will cost 749 euros, or about 44 thousand rubles.

In early September, Xiaomi introduced the ultra-budget Redmi A1 phone in India. The device received a plastic case, a 6.52-inch IPS screen, Android 12 Go Edition OS.
