Apple has warned of security flaws on some versions of the operating systems for iPhone phones, iPad tablets, and Mac computers.
The bug means that an application can run malicious code Y access the information contained in the device. Apple is aware that there are already cases where a cybercriminal has taken advantage of it.
In an entry on its user support portal, the firm from Cupertino (California, USA) indicated that in the case of iPhone phones the problem is in the version of the iOS 15.6.1 operating system, and in that of the iPad, in iPadOS 15.6.1.
The company has already released a patch for iPhone 6s or later, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch 7th generation. In the case of Mac computers, the bug has been found in the macOS Monterey 12.5.1 operating system.
