Jioriku explained that a special adapter would need to be purchased to ensure high charging speeds. The power will be adjusted automatically. Maximum performance will be reached with a low battery level, then the power will decrease to 25-27 watts. The insider did not say how long the boost charge will take. According to official information, the most expensive Apple smartphone at the moment – the iPhone 13 Pro Max – will be able to charge 50 percent in half an hour.

The insider clarified that we are talking only about wired charging, the power of wireless charging through the MagSafe protocol will remain at the same level – 15 watts. In addition, the iPhone 14 may receive support for reverse wireless charging, but this feature will be activated with the iOS 16 update in the future.

Earlier, insiders said that the base model of the iPhone 14 will be priced at $799. The iPhone 13 was priced the same.
