Poland is doing well in this year’s edition of the League of Nations. The team led by Nikola Grbic has so far lost only two – 1: 3 with Italy in the tournament in Ottawa and 2: 3 in Gdańsk. There are two more games ahead of the Poles – against the Netherlands (09.07) and Slovenia (10.07).
A peaceful victory for Polish volleyball players
The first set was quite unusual. Up to a point, the Chinese had a clear advantage, even leading 13: 7 and then 19:14. With the result 23:19 in favor of the Asian team, it seemed that he would win the set, but then Nikola Grbić’s players began to successfully catch up and finally won 26:24.
The second set showed a clear advantage of the volleyball players, who never gave their rivals the lead. Throughout its duration, the Poles controlled the course of the game and they probably won 25:16.

The third set was similar to every second set, although initially the volleyball players from China managed to achieve a two-point advantage. From the result 10:10, the Poles did not give up the lead until the end and thanks to an effective game they won 25:18.
Thanks to this victory, the Polish team, with 25 points, took the lead in the table. Italy has the same points, but Polish volleyball players have a better balance of sets.
