UFC CEO Dana White Says Former UFC Champion Jon Jones Will Return To Fighting

The head of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White announced the return to the performances of the American Jon Jones. The promoter became a guest on The Jim Rome Show.

According to White, the organization is selecting an opponent for the 34-year-old fighter. He noted that Jones could fight Francis Ngannou if the heavyweight had time to recover from a knee injury, or he could fight Stipe Miocic. White added that despite Jones’ behavior outside the octagon, he considers him the best fighter in history.

Jones has not fought in the UFC since February 2020. He then retained the organization’s light heavyweight championship belt by defeating Dominick Reyes. After that, Jones was going to move up to the heavyweight division.

Jones previously held the top spot in the UFC’s top fighters without regard to weight classes. He became the light heavyweight champion twice.
