On the other hand, the Colombian trainer Armando Roncancio obtained five victories in the Mile Festival, with Shabdiz, Teriyaki, Mykonos, Lukacu and El Puma Carranza in the classic, all examples of the stud Three Skates.
Meanwhile, the test completed in honor of the stud Curicó won it in 1,500 meters by the colt Lukacu, also ridden by Luis Hurtado, and clocked 1 min 36.70 s.
After the classic, the posthumous tribute to the creator of the Festival de la Milla, José Ormazábal, was paid. The trophy was delivered to the Tres Patines stable for the triumph of El Puma Carranza.
