The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) suspended the Russian national teams from the World Cup. This was reported on the website of the organization.

The women’s team was not allowed to the 2022 World Cup and the 2022 World Cup. Also, Russian basketball players will not be able to take part in the World Championship among women under 17 years old.
