On Monday, May 9, the Polish Ski Association will announce the distribution of staff in cross-country skiing for the next season. The federation decided to merge the male and female teams into one mix. Her trainer was a Czech who had previously worked with men.

The mixed team for the 2022/23 season includes the two best Polish runners, Monika Skinder and Izabela Marcisz, as well as Maciej Starga, Kamil Bury and Dominik Bury.

The former women’s coach, Martin Bajcicak, led the team of mix B, which included Karolina Kukuczka, Mateusz Haratyk, Robert Bugara and Sebastian Bryja. In turn, the junior staff was led by Jan Antolec, who commented on the changes in the staff structure on the official website of the Polish Ski Association.

– From this season on, we will be divided into three training groups. National Team B and Juniorw will have a joint training staff. Our two staff will train together and follow one training plan throughout the entire preparation period. Cooperation between our large group and Lukáš Bauer’s staff will also be important, said Antolec.
