Cristiano Ronaldo has not yet decreed his future in football, but there are high chances that the Portuguese will leave Manchester United next season. However, the newspaper mirror revealed that the player and iconic former coach Alex Ferguson had some private meetings.

According to the vehicle, the two had regular conversations during the troubled season of the English club. Despite the turmoil, Ferguson would like Cristiano to stay at least one more season at United.

Alex first signed Ronaldo for Manchester in 2003 and was instrumental in getting the 37-year-old goal machine back to the club last summer.
