In the summer of 2021, he changed Lokomotiv Moscow to FK Krasnodar. And although the 32-year-old liked the new club, due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Pole decided to leave. He will be playing for AEK Athens until the end of the season, although – as he himself admitted – he was very close to moving to.
– Do I feel like a star here? I was received very well, I feel the respect of the club and fans, but it is very short and illusory if it does not translate later on the pitch. Krychowiak will become a coach
