Club Roll & Twist finishes first in Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup; Boucle academy settles in the second locker | Other Sports | sports

Competition that had the endorsement of the Guayas Gymnastics Association, has the purpose of promoting the practice of this sport in Ecuador.

The organization of Classic Gymnastics, Ecuador chapter, presented for the first time in Guayaquil the Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup of levels, where the Club Roll & Twist, with 454.9 points, he finished in first place in the general classification; the Boucle Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy, Cañar, with 153.98, it was second; the Team Pichincha, which totaled 129.78, ranked third; and the Team Romareda, de Guayas, which completed 120.17 units, was installed fourth.

The competition, which was held at the gymnastics coliseum of the National Sports Federation of Ecuador, had the participation of athletes from the age of 3, and representatives of Guayas, Cañar and Pichincha.

Eva Olaya, president of the Guayas Gymnastics Association, who gave the endorsement for the tournament, said about the contest: “This new initiative in the branch of rhythmic gymnastics, with the level program, opens the participation of the different clubs that are starting in this modality. The obligatory routines that the little ones have to perform are adapted according to the time they have in the gym, their physical and motor capacity ”.

The tests were completed hands-free (the girls perform a mandatory routine and meet the requirements according to each level) and skills that, according to the regulations, help to capture physical and technical skills presented by gymnasts since their inception.

“Due to the event that could be observed, it is seen with great optimism the future of rhythmic gymnastics from the country. In this way, a further step is being taken to be able to carry out high-level events and organization, which will motivate parents, clubs, academies, associations and federations to practice gymnastics more, ”added Olaya.

Results:

In the pre-1 level, category 3-4 years, the Roll & Twist club, from Guayas, made the 1-2-3 with Megan Herrera, with 16.65 points, as the first; Leah Padilla, with 16.50, second; and Daniela Lopez, with 16.10, third.

In the 5-6 years, group A, the Roll & club again seized the podium with Maria Bazurto, with 17.20, as champion; second was Lía Nieto, with 15.85; and third Alesia Sanchez, which completed 15.50 units.

In group B, aged 5-6 years, the winner was Amara Lértora, with 16.55 points; sophie sea bass, with 15.50, it was second; and Karla Farías, with 15.00, third; the three participants represented the Roll & Twist club.

For his part, in the 5 years, the gold medal was hung Sophie Bolanos, with 15.80, from the Roll & Twist club; the silver medal was obtained Alice Cáceres, with 15.73, also from the Roll & Twist; while the third box was for Ana Paula Espinoza, with 15,23, from the Boucle Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy.

In the 6 years, group A, the winner was Domain Palomeque, with 18.00, from the Roll & Twist club; the second place was occupied Melanie Velasquez, with 16,13, of the Roll & Twist; while Bianca Caiza, with 15.53, from Team Pichincha, seized the bronze medal.

Group B had as the best Fiorella Garcia, with 17.70, from the Roll & Twist club; second ended Alicia Zuña, with 15.83, from the Boucle Rhythmic Gymnastics Academy; and third culminated Martina Carvajal, con 15,40, del Roll & Twist.

7-year-old group A left Daniela avila, with 17.70, from Team Pichincha, as the most outstanding; he got the silver medal Ayleen espinoza, with 16.07, and third was Iziss Barrera, with 15.50, the last two from the Boucle academy.

Series B crowned the best a Camila Loaiza, with 16.77, from Team Pichincha; the second box was for Fatima Guillén, with 15.73; and third Yamileth Herrera, with 15.40, the last two are representatives of the Boucle academy.

In 8 years, the best grade went to Giuliana Aviles, with 16.40, from Team Pichincha; Ángela Yanhary, with 15.67, from Team Pichincha, finished second; and Renata Onate, with 15.43, from the Boucle academy, finished third.

Series A, of the 9-10, had as the best a Daniela bridges, with 16.57, of the Roll & Twist; while Valeria vallejo placeholder image, with 15.63, from the Guayaquil club, was second; and Solange Colonel, With 14.83, from the Boucle Academy, he finished third.

Group B had Elizabeth molina, with 15.67, from the Roll & Twist, as the winner; the second place was occupied Mía Ríos, with 15.60, of the Roll & Twist; and third ended Camila Ludizaca, con 15.33, from the Loop academia.

The 12 years left Sophia Wheelock with 15.70, from the Roll & Twist club, as champion; he hung the silver medal Maria Bermeo, with 15.63, from the Boucle academy; and third was Maria Galvez, con 15,23, del Roll & Twist.

Level 1, 7 years: 1, Ivana Caicedo, 17.87; 2. Anya Mendoza, 17.43; Amelia Hidalgo, 16.57, the three participants belong to the Roll & Twist club.

Level 2, 10 to 11 years: 1. Aylin Fuentes, 17.13, 2. Dianne Chango, 16.57; 3. Josefine Plaza, 16.37; the three representatives of the Roll & Twist club.

Intermediate and advanced

Level 1, category 6-10 years: 1. Naomi Tibán and Emilia Andrade, with 16.17, both from Tem Pichincha; 2. Isabella Bonilla, 13.83, from the Romareda club; 3. Aitana Freire, 13.77, Romareda club.

Level 2, category 8-9 years: 1. Genesis Celi, 16,10; 2. Danna Cambisaca, 15.97; 3. Ruby Curb, 15.00; the three participants represented the Romareda club.

Category 11 years and older: 1. Arianna Poveda, with 15.53, Romareda club; 2. Lindsay Ramírez, with 15.37, from Team Pichincha; 3. Ariana García, 15.07, from the Romareda club. (D)
