Gymnast Griskenas described the absence of Russians in tournaments with the phrase “hard case”
The leader of the US rhythmic gymnastics team Evita Griskenas told how the training camp was held in Russia. Her words are quoted by Match TV.
The 21-year-old athlete said that she liked to train in Novogorsk, but at the moment this is not possible. Griskenas described the absence of Russian and Belarusian gymnasts this season in international tournaments with the phrase “hard case.”
On February 28, the International Olympic Committee called for the non-admission of Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in international competitions. After that, most of the sports federations of the world refused to allow the Russians and Belarusians to the tournaments.
Griskenas is a four-time Pan American Games champion. She also has six victories in the Pan American Championship.
