Euskaraz irakurri: Ineosek bere zortzikoa aurkeztu du, tartean, Jonathan Castroviejo
The Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz will be the leader of the Ineos Grenadiers for the Italy spin that will begin next May 6 in Budapest and in the ‘eight’ of his team will also be Jonathan Castroviejo.
The getxoztarra is undoubtedly one of the key pieces in teamwork and a cyclist that all the leaders want to have by their side in a race like the Giro.
The British formation will fight to renew the pink jersey that the absent Colombian Egan Bernal achieved in 2021, who is recovering from injuries from a serious accident.
Ineos will be on the starting line in Budapest with a team made up of Richard Carapaz, Jonathan Castroviejo, Jhonatan Narváez, Richie Porte, Salvatore Puccio, Pavel Sivakov, Ben Swift and Ben Tulett.
“I have a nice memory of the Giro from when it started in Israel, in Tel Aviv. Being there competing in that country and then winning a stage in my first Giro is one of those great memories I have of this race. It is a race that I love , maybe my favorite race, so winning there was special. I remember that stage a lot,” said Richard Carapaz, winner of the 2019 Giro.
