Dina Averina won five gold medals at the World Championships in Japan. She brought the total number of victories in world championships to 18 and broke the record of Evgenia Kanaeva, who has 17 titles.
The World Cup was held from October 27 to 31. The Russians have lost only two out of eight finals. Dina Averina won the silver medal in the ribbon exercise.
