Leonardo Campana scored a hat-trick on Saturday to give Inter Miami a 3-2 win at home against the New England Revolution, marking the club’s first victory in six MLS rounds. The Ecuadorian was happy about this and thanked the support received by his teammates.
Campana led the Inter Miami forward for ninety minutes, on an afternoon in which the Argentine Gonzalo Higuaín was not present.
“I feel very happy. I think this is the result of the work we have been doing. This is our first victory of the season and I am proud to be part of this team, proud of my teammates. I want to congratulate my teammates, because without them I wouldn’t have scored my goals”, expressed the footballer.
“We have a very good relationship. This team is characterized by having people with ambition. We have developed good partnerships. We are players with ambition and I think we are going to achieve great things for Inter Miami,” added the 21-year-old Campana.
On loan from English side Wolverhampton, Campana has scored four goals in an Inter uniform in the first six MLS dates.

“Honestly, I feel very happy. You know what I’ve been through in the last two years. The last two years have been very hard for me and honestly, my family has always been there for me. I appreciate them very much”, concluded the tricolor footballer.
While the English Phil Neville, coach of Miami, was satisfied with what his squad had done and insisted that there must be an improvement.
“It is the first victory of the season. We should not get carried away; We shouldn’t party tonight,” coach Neville stressed.
