Former coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov assessed the level of football in the Hungarian Championship, where he manages Ferencváros. The words of the specialist are quoted by Championship.com.
58-year-old Cherchesov said that the matches for his team in the Hungarian Championship are not easy. “No one wants to give in. We try to work to the maximum. The chances for the title are now good, ”he summed up. Cherchesov compared the elite division of the Hungarian Championship with the Russian Premier League (RPL), noting that the RPL is slightly stronger.
Cherchesov’s Ferencváros took first place in the Hungarian Championship. The team scored 56 points after 27 matches. Ferencvaros broke away from the nearest pursuer by nine points.
