Utkin called the refusal of the Finns to operate on a hockey player from Russia a violation of the Hippocratic Oath
Sports journalist Vasily Utkin reacted to the refusal of Finnish doctors to operate on the Tolpar hockey player (the youth team of the Russian Salavat Yulaev, – prim “Lenta.ru”). The post is available on Utkin’s Telegram channel.
Utkin called the position of Finnish doctors who refused to treat Russian citizens a violation of the Hippocratic Oath. “In general, they cease to be doctors,” the journalist concluded.
On April 13, the general director of Salavat Yulaev, Rinat Bashirov, announced difficulties in relations with Finland. According to the functionary, Finnish doctors refused to operate a player of the youth team of the Bashkir club.
Prior to this, Bashirov said that the likelihood of the return of legionnaires to Salavat Yulaev is minimal. He added that the club of the Continental Hockey League did not break off labor relations with foreigners who left the location of the team.
